Diary of a Mad Woman

I'm not really mad, it's just a twist on an Ozzy song. It's about who I am, writing, and what goes on in my life and my head.

(virtual) Christmas Gift for Mikey

See the full image here.

Early 19th C. Mahogany Pedestal Desk

Circa 1850, of small proportions, and fitted with three drawers across the top and further drawers to each of the pedestals.

I figured it was time you got a real non-wobbling desk. And the best part is it's not behind a pillar!

Enjoy!

I think this is a great gift for Mikey! I saw your comment on his last post, where you made a reference to Tom Servo from MST3K. I was so thrilled to see someone else who knew about that show. I have met few people who have heard of it & even fewer who like it. Crow T Robot has always been my favorite. I love his humor.

WOW. This is truly the perfect gift for him. How clever of you to think of it! :)

Why, thank you. It is much nicer than the digi-beer and the "Dancing Morrissey" some funny, funny person sent me.

I saw the MST3K Hamlet. Whoa.

There are MSTies in the crowd! Cool! Did any of you watch those Edward the Less cartoons they had on the scifi channel website? Too bad they couldn't finish them. Hamlet is one of their best. I personally like Soul Taker, Final Sacrifice, The Beginning of the End, Hobgoblins, and any of the short films. I have a whole library of their movies. Some days I load up the DVD changer and shut the world out. Crow reminds me of my sister. She's the cynical one, I'm more jaded(and off-kilter) like Servo. My mom says she like Mike Nelson because she always gets caught between me and my sister's, um, antics. lol

Anyhoo, glad you like your present Mikey and that the rest of you approve. I love antiques, especially desks.

There's a live nativity the same night as the detective ball but I'm not going. I feel so sorry for those poor people that have to sit out in the cold all evening. It's kinda depressing.

I wish I had a library of their shows! I did check a collection out of the library & watch it this past weekend. It had "The Atomic Brain", "Side Hackers", and "The Unearthly". It also had "Shorts:Volume 2" Made me realize how much I miss it being on. Back when it first came on, it was on The Comedy Channel, and every Thanksgiving they would have a "Turkey Day" marathon. It was great!
